S₳VE is a project aimed at enhancing Village Banking/Village Savings and Loans via web3 tools, protocols and resources. By integrating these 2 systems, new financial identities and value can be unlocked.
There are over 1.5 billion people involved in these semi-formal village banking systems, that are able to self-govern and successfully work together to save and lend money within their communities.
The reason village savings and loan systems work are the same reasons many people see value in web3 public ledgers. They both create new value and unlock hidden value that is transparent and community driven.
Want to contribute to the S₳VE Proof of Concept Working Group?
We are looking for savings and lending group professionals, microfinance experts, existing lenders that target bottom of the pyramid communities.
From the web3 and technology space we need developers, wallet providers, mobile money experts, decentralized finance, lending protocols and digital identity providers.
Plus whatever else you bring to the table! Let us know where you think you can best fit.
